Monday Math – Lesson #38

Maths instruction in class

Welcome back to #MondayMath once again.

We have been posing Math questions every Monday on our Facebook page. These are questions that our students also encounter in Mathematics classes at B.D. Somani.

Last week’s question involved picking the odd one out. This week, we need to calculate perimeters.

Millie has some star-shaped tiles. Each edge of a tile is 5 centimetres long.

She puts two tiles together to make this shape.

Work out the perimeter of Millie’s shape.
